Garth Brooks effectively undermined his entire career, a phenomenon now humorously referred to as “Bud Lighting,” wherein one destroys their reputation completely. During a recent country festival in Mastitoqua, Oklahoma, Brooks faced the consequences of his past actions, particularly when he referred to the country community as a-holes.
Former Garth Brooks Fan Club President Joe Barron lamented, “I’ll never forget. I gave up a lot when I stepped down. I was in charge of a Facebook group with over 600,000 members who trusted Garth. When he did what he did, the group emptied out, now populated by leftist trolls and a poorly executed Harry Potter meme.”
The Mastitaqua crowd echoed the sentiment. Morgan Wallen, unfortunately, had to introduce Brooks, an experience he vowed never to repeat. Can anyone blame him?
Following the incident, Brooks exited the stage and promptly headed to the nearest Target for a supply of Bud Light. Speaking to ALLOD Correspondent Tara Newhole, he shared, “It’s the only thing that keeps me sane anymore, that and my Nikes. And plain red coffee cups. Gosh dang I love those things.”
Despite the passage of time, some things, like Garth Brooks, remain unchanged. God Bless America.
