Roseanne’s upcoming show is almost set to go. Assuming there are no hitches, it should be up and operational by early next month. In an exciting twist, the initial musical guest has been swapped to Oliver Anthony!
Anthony, who skyrocketed to fame with his hit “Rich Men North of Richmond,” expresses his honor to be part of a show featuring such an inspiring woman: “Roseanne has always championed the working class person, so it’s fitting that I join her show. I’m contemplating bringing her some fudge rounds as a playful gesture,” he said.
Roseanne would likely find that amusing, considering her enduring portrayal as a struggling mom in a blue-collar world. “The Conners didn’t receive any welfare. Dan and I worked tirelessly to feed those mischievous little ones,” she remarked.
While Roseanne’s shift toward conservatism may appear contrary to her past, and her newfound patriotism is a far cry from the provocative rendition of the National Anthem she delivered years ago, that’s precisely why she is cherished. Her capacity for change is unparalleled.
It’s regrettable that she’s unwilling to deviate from her current persona, which involves espousing conspiracy theories for the devotees on “X,” but that’s the way things go.
At least her inaugural show will feature a great song before it faces challenges and gets canceled. God bless America.
