When Lexie’s in-laws, Roger and Jessica, lost their home due to job losses, they turned to her mother for help. With no other option, her mother agreed to let them stay. At first, things were fine, but soon her in-laws began complaining about the living conditions, criticizing the food and space.
Despite finding jobs, their behavior worsened, and things took a turn when they suggested her mother should move into a nursing home. Lexie’s mother, tired of the complaints, decided to take action. She called social services, and the in-laws were relocated to social housing.
Cameron, caught in the middle, felt guilty, but his mother reminded him it wasn’t his fault. Lexie and Cameron visited the in-laws in their new apartment, where they admitted their mistakes. Cameron expressed his anger at their behavior, and they finally acknowledged their wrongs. Lexie’s mother was later surprised with a bouquet of flowers from Cameron as a gesture of appreciation for her strength.
