Cumberland Gap, 1907…

This photograph of the bygone days of the horse and buggy era shows how Reverend Isaac S. Anderson traveled from Rose Hill, Virginia, to Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, circa 1907, where he held ministerial services in an old log church there. In the picture with Reverend Isaac S. Anderson are Mrs. Delia Spencer, holding horse; Ruth Moore, the daughter of Professor Jesse H. Moore, of Lincoln Memorial University; and Miss Cornelius, daughter of Dr. Cornelius of Berea.
