“We Support 45”: Kid Rock and Jason Aldean withdraw New York from the “You Can’t Cancel America” tour.

Kid Rock and Jason Aldean have declared the cancellation of all scheduled New York tour dates for their upcoming “You Can’t Cancel America” tour. The tour’s website stated, “We stand with 45; hence, we won’t be bringing the tour to the state that has treated him unfavorably.”

Initially planning to host over a dozen shows in New York, the tour aimed to contribute significant economic benefits to local communities and provide a night for patriotic Americans in what they described as a liberal environment.

Expressing disappointment, Joe Barron, President of the Kid Rock Fan Club, lamented the lost opportunity, saying, “All of that’s gone now, thanks to New York. I had premium tickets for the West Plattsville Pig Roast, including floor seats and the chance to purchase a commemorative popcorn bucket signed by Kid himself for an additional $12.99. We’re pretty disheartened.”

Various venues are also dismayed at missing out on hosting the year’s most significant tour. One notable example is the Brunswick near Cooperstown, set to feature the tour during Cosmic Bowling, a popular event drawing a substantial crowd. Despite the setback, the local manager, Joe Barron, acknowledged the situation, stating, “We had everything ready, including a rented stage. The local Little League team had sold raffle tickets with free admission, and we expected to reach the fire department’s 125-person limit. While our local economy needed it, we understand the decision.”
