LOS ANGELES, CA—Whoopi Goldberg, once celebrated for roles in The Color Purple and Ghost, was named Hollywood’s most disliked person for the third time by her peers. The Whoopi-Goldberg-most-disliked poll points to her time on The View as the turning point.
“Guests avoid the show,” said former producer Joe Barron. “We beg anyone filming nearby because locals won’t bother.” The Screen Actors’ Guild (SAG) poll, initially private, went viral online, with 82% citing Goldberg’s “grumpy attitude” as the reason. For more on Hollywood news, visit Variety.
The SAG Conservative Committee, led by Scott Baio and backed by James Woods, voted unanimously. Kevin Sorbo voted by proxy, and Roseanne Barr shouted her vote remotely. Clint Eastwood abstained, struggling with Zoom on his great-great-grandson’s iPad.
