Trump Takes McDonald’s Shift to Boost Weak Jobs Report
FEASTERVILLE, PA—President Donald Trump returned to a Pennsylvania McDonald’s, where he once worked, to counter a disappointing July jobs report. His stint aims to lift the nation’s employment numbers.
Trump, donning a red polo, worked the fryer and counter with ease. “I’m adding jobs, one fry at a time,” he told reporters. “That jobs report was fake. Totally wrong. I’m making work great again.” For more on employment trends, visit BLS.
Between serving customers, Trump dismissed the report’s creator. “She’s fired. Nasty woman. Jobs are everywhere, believe me,” he said, multitasking while negotiating a Pakistan-India peace call.
His McDonald’s shifts add to his bold moves. “The economy’s strong,” Trump insisted. “I’m proving it here.” Learn about job policies at White House.
At press time, Trump tasked Secretary of State Marco Rubio with taking extra roles to further pump up employment figures.
