Following the Super Bowl, Reba gave Taylor Swift a hard time, saying, “I Saw You Drinking During the Anthem.”
Reba McIntyre delivered an outstanding performance representing her country at the Super Bowl by singing the National Anthem with a combination of style and grace that allowed the song itself to take center stage, overshadowing the performer.
While engrossed in her performance, McIntyre mentioned focusing on the jumbotron to observe the reactions of children in the audience as they realized the greatness of America. However, to her surprise, the camera captured Taylor Swift engaging in laughter and consuming Jager bombs during the anthem, which she perceived as highly disrespectful.
Despite attempts to seek comments from Swift, there has been no response. Nevertheless, Swift was inadvertently recorded on a hot mic at an after-party, dubbing the Anthem as the “magic freedom song” and criticizing McIntyre’s singing as “sub-par.” She also made a questionable comparison between McIntyre and amphibians, referring to her as resembling a frog.
The discussion on whether Reba resembles a frog is deemed irrelevant by patriots, asserting that disliking her singing equates to a lack of patriotism, possibly even neglecting to show respect during The Black National Anthem.
In response, Reba confronted Swift for her behavior. The situation could lead to an impending boycott against Swift.
