Make way for Oliver Anthony, Taylor Swift. A new contender has emerged, and his name is Oliver Anthony. Anthony recently held a concert, kept under wraps until the day before, that not only surpassed but more than doubled the attendance records previously set by Taylor Swift’s somewhat overrated “Eras Tour.”
Concert promoter Joe Barron shared his amazement, stating, “It was incredible. We transitioned from Ted Nugent and the Chili Cookoff on Saturday to nearly a million people in and around the fairground on Sunday. Ted was honored to be part of it, although slightly embarrassed.”
Expressing gratitude, Anthony addressed the crowd, crediting Ted Nugent for recommending his appearance, and humorously mentioned tasting Nugent’s award-winning canned whitetail chili. Following a prayer, a reading from Ezekiel 7, Anthony performed both of his songs.
The sheer size of the crowd created logistical challenges, with some attendees potentially stranded at the center of the event for weeks or months. ALLOD Journalisticator Tara Newhole highlighted the need for airdropping supplies to those stuck, especially with winter approaching.
Newhole humorously remarked that she hadn’t seen so many overalls since Sacha Baron Cohen orchestrated the singing of “Wuhan Flu” by a group of country folk.
Currently at the epicenter, Anthony has taken charge, declaring martial law and suspending food stamps for those who could fend for themselves. The situation, resembling a Mad Max scenario, raises concerns about the well-being of those trapped.
