TVER OBLAST, RUSSIA—Kseniya Alexandrova, a 30-year-old former Miss Universe contestant, died August 12, 2025, from severe brain injuries after an elk smashed through her Porsche’s windshield on July 5. The Kseniya-Alexandrova-elk-crash tragedy stunned fans worldwide.

Driving home from Rzhev with her husband on the M-9 highway, Alexandrova, a passenger, suffered catastrophic injuries when the elk collided with their Porsche Panamera. “A split second passed; I couldn’t react,” her unnamed husband told RIA, noting they wore seatbelts and drove slowly.
