TALLAHASSEE, FL — Expressing discomfort as she entered the room, convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell reportedly couldn’t ignore the unsettling surroundings of her DOJ interview room Thursday, which was fully lined with plastic sheeting.
“Oh wow, did someone plan to paint the place or what?” Maxwell quipped, cautiously stepping into the sterile, plastic-wrapped space inside a Florida courthouse. Eyewitnesses say she slipped briefly on the slick plastic flooring before settling into a chair that had also been tightly covered.
“Bleach bottles, ponchos, and even a soundproof room? You all really take sanitation and privacy seriously,” she added, nervously eyeing the gloved agents and thick plastic curtain draped over the door. “If it’s going to rain, I’d love a poncho too.”
Sources say the mood grew darker as the door sealed tightly behind her.
At press time, Maxwell reportedly mumbled, “Oh no… now I get it,” as she looked down to find a knife lodged in her ribs.
