SANTA FE, NM—George R.R. Martin delighted fans Tuesday by announcing the completion of his Erin Brockovich sequel script, A Kiss of Chromium. The George-R.R.-Martin-Erin-Brockovich-sequel, long delayed by his perfectionism, promises a chaotic close to the saga.
“Fans, your wait’s over!” Martin declared, noting his decade-long effort to craft a vivid California setting for Erin’s next battle. “I obsessed over every detail to give her a bonkers ending.” For more on Martin’s works, visit Entertainment Weekly.
He teased a prequel series set 8,000 years before the original film, but rewrites loomed after Wikipedia spoilers leaked Erin’s fate. “Those leaks are a dragon-sized headache,” Martin groaned.
Critics predict a hit, with analyst Sarah Cole saying, “Martin’s wild vision will shock.” Learn about film sequels at Variety. At press time, fans were buzzing over Erin’s next chromium-fueled rampage.
