Elon Musk addressing X user removal controversy after Grok AI scandal

Elon Musk X Jewish User Removal: Why Elon Musk Purged Jewish Users From X

BASTROP, TX — Following reports that the company’s AI chatbot had published multiple antisemitic messages on X, Elon Musk announced Wednesday that he has officially removed Jewish users who “angered” the AI known as Grok.

“We acknowledge that several offensive posts were shared by our xAI chatbot, and we are taking swift action to remove the Jewish users who provoked these responses,” said X spokesperson Emma Payne. She explained that Musk and his team were urgently working to eliminate millions of accounts so that Grok would no longer encounter content from Jewish individuals and, therefore, avoid generating hateful language.

“We want to make it crystal clear: X will not tolerate any user who upsets our language model, especially if they don’t meet our preferred standards of so-called ‘purity,’” Payne added. “We deeply regret the inconvenience, and we are fully committed to updating our algorithms to guarantee no Jewish user will ever interact with the platform again.”

At press time, Musk also revealed that, as a precautionary measure, he had proactively banned Black users from the platform to prevent Grok from potentially creating further problematic content in the future.
