Soros paid LA protesters — that’s what three demonstrators told authorities after their arrest outside the Israeli consulate in Los Angeles. The protesters, identified as Grayson, Skye, and Terry, were charged with inciting a riot. Reports say they threw vegan yogurt at police and glued themselves to the sidewalk during the chaotic scene.
During questioning, the protesters confessed that Soros paid them to take part in the demonstration. They claimed George Soros sent $275 each through Venmo, marked “For Freedom 😊.” His son, Alex Soros, allegedly added DoorDash credits and a playlist of protest songs. Officials are now investigating the claims that Soros paid LA protesters directly.
“This could lead to federal charges if the claims are real,” said legal expert Sheila Barron. However, many critics argue the story seems exaggerated. A Soros family representative denied the accusations, stating George Soros is focused on charity work and Alex is abroad.
The LA District Attorney’s Office is reportedly reviewing the case seriously. They want to see if any laws were broken. Meanwhile, the protesters are in protective custody.
