Driving trend skyrockets after ‘F1’ film release
A new report from Edmunds Research reveals that driving is experiencing a massive boom in popularity following the release of Apple’s latest movie, F1. The film, featuring fast cars and thrilling races, has inspired millions of viewers to hit the roads and experience driving for themselves.
“Thanks to F1, driving has truly become a cultural phenomenon,” said Jared Eash, co-author of the report. He explained that car dealerships across the country have seen a flood of new customers, all eager to channel their inner Brad Pitt behind the wheel.
Eash added, “I personally enjoy jumping into my Nissan Sentra and cruising around Kansas City. After watching F1, I feel like a professional racer. And I’m not alone. Many fans have said they now drive every single day, some even taking multiple trips just to capture that racing excitement. The F1 film has really brought cars back into the spotlight.”
However, the hype may not last forever. According to the report, many first-time drivers quickly became disillusioned after learning about everyday road realities, such as stop signs and traffic lights.
