Keith, a bus driver, mocked a woman breastfeeding her baby on his bus, complaining about the inconvenience. He was further disturbed when she left at the next stop and he saw his son, Daniel, in a wheelchair. The woman, he realized, was his daughter-in-law, and the baby was his grandson. Shocked, Keith’s mind flashed back to his troubled past. Years earlier, he had chosen a life of crime to provide for his family, but it led to his arrest and separation from Sarah and their son.
After serving time, Keith was released on parole and sought out Sarah and Daniel. He discovered they had moved on with a new life—Daniel was now a teenager, and his stepfather had taken Keith’s place. Heartbroken, Keith walked away, only to see Daniel again later in a wheelchair, which reminded him of his past mistakes.
Years passed, and Keith learned that Sarah and her husband had died in a car accident. Daniel, who survived but was paralyzed, now lived with his wife and child. Realizing the need to make amends, Keith decided to meet his son, no matter how difficult it would be.
